weekend recap

This weekend was hectic, but we're {nearly} all moved in to our new home.  And in between the madness, we still managed to have some fun {Friday night, I went to a little dive bar with my friend, Diana, to see her boyfriend's band play while Mark had hockey games two nights in a row}.

my father, the hero

Remember that movie? It was one of the first times we were introduced to Katherine Heigl (who I adore). It is a fun film about the love between a father and daughter.

Maybe I have a special place for that movie because I'm lucky enough to have a father who is actually my hero. I love my dad and I'll fully admit that I am a total daddy's girl.

From music and travel to business and shopping advice (if you need it, my dad can find it for you), he shaped my life and introduced me to so many things. I know without a doubt, I wouldn't be who I am today with his constant presence.

Happy birthday, daddy!
