a wedding weekend + wish i was here

This weekend was Amy's wedding. It was an amazing labor of love and absolutely no detail was left to chance. A full post on that coming soon, but suffice it to say it was spectacular, the bride looked gorgeous {she even trusted me to do her hair for the big day!}, the groom - handsome, and the party was a hit!

And since we really partied it up over the weekend, I need a moment to recover. Unfortunately, that's not going to happen, so until this weekend when I'll actually have time to recuperate, I'll be dreaming of floating around the Pacific Ocean.

I am so blessed in my life and I love where I'm at - struggles, triumphs and everything in between - but sometimes I think about the road I didn't take. You know, the alternate life I could be living if I'd chosen a different path.

So here's an ode to my dream life.

I would live here
{a few years ago, Christine and I spent my birthday in my favorite city and when we were walking to Mama's for breakfast, we passed this building. I told her I would live here one day}
